ABOUT HOME PLACE
It always comes back to the home place.
When Samantha’s grandmother spoke about her childhood home, she called it
“the home place.”
The home place was more than the house where she grew up. It was the surrounding land her family farmed, the memories made there, and a place that remained deeply meaningful to her throughout her life.
The house itself wasn’t grand. It had dirt floors. But Samantha’s grandmother never spoke of it with embarrassment. Instead, she remembered with pride how hard her mother worked to make that simple house feel like home.
That story became the foundation for Home Place Interiors.
We believe a meaningful home isn’t defined by perfection or filled simply for the sake of filling it. It is layered over time with the things you love, the pieces you’ve inherited, the art that stops you in your tracks, and the finds that somehow feel as though they were always meant to be yours.
A home should reflect the people who live there. It should engage the senses, welcome the people you love, and, in Samantha’s grandmother’s spirit, greet you like a warm hug.
THE DESIGNER
Meet
Samantha Rodgers
Samantha has always loved collecting and gathering beautiful things. What began as a personal love of antiques, art, and the thrill of discovering something special eventually grew into Home Place Interiors.
Her style is rooted in the South but never confined by tradition. She loves the patina and history of an antique, the honesty of a primitive piece, the polish of something luxurious, and the ease that comes when old and new are allowed to live together.
Samantha approaches each project with the belief that a designer’s job isn’t to erase the personality of a home or its owners. It’s to help uncover it.
Through thoughtful selections, meaningful pieces, and a little bit of the unexpected, she creates interiors that feel collected, comfortable, and deeply personal.
A home should feel like a reflection
of the people who live there.
Collected, not decorated.
We believe in rooms that unfold over time.
In antiques with a past. Art chosen because you love it. Comfortable furniture meant to be used. Beautiful fabrics, unexpected color, and objects that spark a memory or conversation.
We believe luxury and livability can coexist. That old and new are better together. And that the best rooms don’t feel as though they were designed in a day.
They simply feel like home.
